How do you hang your Moon Calendar?
Multiple clients have asked me lately about what type of frame to get for their Moon Calendar.
I’m a little different because I print the 24x36 XL Moon Calendar for myself each year and hang it directly on the wall above my desk with sticky dots. I keep another calendar folded in my bedroom for reference.
Even though I don’t use them myself, I appreciate a nice frame. My taste likes modern, clean lines and flat square edges. I have a preference for thinner frames and no matting. All of these frames are for an 11x17 Taming the Tangle Moon Calendar, and they can each be hung horizontally.
Here are my top picks:
Simple black frame
What’s to like? Thin edge with glass to showcase your calendar without distraction.
Looks great with: Noir, Twilight, Terra Cotta and Golden Hour Moon Calendars.
Simple white frame
What’s to like? White frame to disappear on white walls.
Looks great with: the Noir Moon Calendar since it’s printed on bright white paper and the Twilight Moon Calendar so the blue ink and silver paper stand out more.
Black wood frame
What’s to like? Bolder frame so your calendar pops on the wall.
Looks great with: Noir, Twilight, Terra Cotta and Golden Hour Moon Calendars.
Light oak wood frame
What’s to like? Pale wood with flat lines keeps the aesthetic modern.
Looks great with: the warm wood tones complement the Terra Cotta and Golden Hour Moon Calendars.
Dark wood frame
What’s to like? Dark wood with square edges lends old world flair to a modern poster.
Looks great with: the dark wood accentuates the warmth of the Golden Hour Moon Calendar.
