Do you make your bed in the morning?

I've been listening to Gretchen Rubin's new podcast “Happier.” She states that making your bed makes you happier. If I ever don't make my bed, I don't feel right. The act of making it does not make me happier, but at the end of the day I love climbing into a made bed. Not making it right before crawling in, but one that is already made and inviting me into its arms.Bed-happinessSo for me making my bed has a delayed happiness reward, yet it's a crucial one. Sleep is so important to me, that pretty much upon waking up I'm thinking about how I can do that again or make that sleep better, et cetera... thus I'm motivated to make my bed.I have the added motivation of living with an open floor plan. My bedroom is pretty much in the middle of my living room. I do not always maintain a clean space, but my bed is always made, which makes me feel slightly more presentable if someone pops over. The pursuit of happiness is a biggie for me... afterall that's how I ended up being a jewelry designer and moving to California. Little did I know that my daily habit was tipping the scale in that direction as well. What are your thoughts about all this?Kathy-Frey-bedroomps- My bedroom is due for a major makeover. I've been gathering ideas on Pinterest and in my Etsy feed... I'm hoping to set some wheels in motion over the summer.
