Tarot, Candles, Ritual
Hello, curious soul ~
Over the past few months, I've done more Tarot readings than ever before. The two common themes coming up are:
Challenges are cropping up everywhere. This year has been intense for many, across all areas… whether storm damage, health challenges, loss of loved ones, work upheaval, questioning identity, or a mixture of many things at once, a common theme of struggle comes up again and again.
Good things are in the mix, but I'm mentioning this in case you too are grappling with adversity.
The cards consistently acknowledge the wounded warrior energy with this reassurance: Keep going. It's hard, but you got this! You only need take step by tiny step to make it through these challenges.
Continue to shine in your passions. No dimming your light.
A particularly skeptical person who requested a Tarot reading at a recent show said, “That's so obvious. That's nothing I don't know.
I looked into her jaded eyes, fogged over with searching and the desire to hear something new and inspiring and asked, “Is it? Is it obvious?”
You may know something, and it's quite different to live and embody it.
Especially as you move through what's being thrown at you.
These two energies seem opposite of each other, yet they are working together. That's the paradox and the power of harnessing light and shadow to move forward.
Kinda like a snake shedding its skin.
One-step doesn't end so the other can begin. Once the shedding and discomfort start, moving makes it easier to process. That's how all the old stuff can slough away more easily.
The snake doesn't wait for skin to be completely off before moving again. The skin comes off because the snake keeps moving.
The moving in the challenges IS the shining. That's the strength.
That strength reveals a new tenderness and vulnerability. Your skin is literally not so thick after a shedding. It's unfamiliar and uncomfortable.
While some of these lessons may seem obvious, that's the journey of personal growth.
“Here I am again.”
Keep moving, reach out if you need support (including group experiences offered below), and…
Stay curious,
Kat
