All Who Wander...

I've been feeling a bit nervous about the various energies flinging around with the full moon, full lunar eclipse, and so many planets in retrograde. Today I felt compelled to ask the cards for any type of bright side, which can be risky business at times (leading the cards towards what I want to hear rather than what needs to be heard) but I feel good about how it worked out. Phew!

What opportunities does Mercury Retrograde present this week?

Well, well, well, The Fool has appeared with another message. His very being is lightness. His carefree nature keeps life simple. He walks the world with only a staff and a small pack, using the stars and nature as his guide. The Fool Tarot CardCan this inspire your travels this week? Consider literally lightening up any bags you carry — purge those things that add more weight than utility that have drifted to the bottom of your purse or briefcase.Additionally, invite yourself to connect more with the outdoors and your physical realm this week rather than your digital one. Consider these playful challenges. Sit outside and read a book rather than scrolling on a screen. Walk to the mailbox rather than using the car. Try taking a trip without GPS.Mercury Retrograde presents the opportunity to be simpler, more free and filled with childlike wonder. Try releasing being the expert by resisting the urge to Google everything. Open to the gifts of The Universe. People are here with the information you need to help you along on your soul path. Consult a librarian; call a friend for insight. Ask questions by tapping into your sense of curiosity to connect with others while relinquishing the demand to know and be right. It's a great week to let go of expectations and control. Give yourself more time in each day for a bit of wandering.
