Winter wonderland

Last night it started snowing, and just look what I woke up to... such beauty! Today is a perfect snow day. I love it when a day like this comes along... suddenly the to-do list melts away and nothing really *needs* to be done.

Okay, that's not totally true... even though I have 4wd, I still need to get chains for my car and do some other winter prepping. Snow like this is pretty unusual here -- town actually pretty much shuts down -- but it's an el nino year so we might be in for some surprises this season. But all this can wait for a day later this week!
