Life stinks sometimes!

Sometimes life stinks, yet it doesn’t have to thanks to The Duggan Sisters. I love their aptly-named deodorant.

I’ve had many conversations with fellow artists about deodorant. One might think, why would artists care about deodorant? Well, imagine a day where you have to get up in the wee hours of the morning, do lots of heavy lifting and setup a tent and entire booth display as the sun rises, then immediately turn around and start selling art for 8+ hours. No time for showering, lots of coffee to consume, and the stress and anxiety that comes with all aspects of that territory (setup as well as selling).

We can become stinky critters, and I for one do not want to scare someone off if I raise my arms to help clasp a necklace.

In my home studio life, these issues don’t concern me much except in crowded group fitness classes or places where I have to take off my shoes. For years I got away with a natural deodorant and then switched to a standard commercial male antiperspirant for show time (standard deodorant female scents always overwhelm me with their faux floweriness or powderiness). I’ve had lots of people talk to me about cancer risks, and I’ve had many friends have to give up quality deodorant.

Well, no longer! The Duggan Sisters have created a wonderful product that I’ve used for close to a year now. I just purchased the travel container and the stink stick booster for when I go on the road. The product is effective and easy to use. It doesn’t stain clothes or have a strong scent. It’s great for a foot powder as well.
